Los Cabos continues to position itself as a luxury destination following its participation in Virtuoso Travel Week 2024, held from August 10 to 15 in Las Vegas, Nevada. This event, recognized globally in the tourism industry, gathered 5,000 representatives from leading companies in the sector, such as hotels, inbound tour operators, and specialized travel agents. With 14 high-end hotels included in the exclusive Virtuoso network, totaling 18,600 rooms, Los Cabos has established itself as a global reference for premium tourism. No other destination in the Virtuoso network has such a high concentration of luxury hotels in one place, highlighting the unique appeal of this gem in Baja California Sur.

Recognitions and collaborations

One of the most notable news items during this event was the nomination of FITURCA for the third consecutive year as the best destination management organization in the world. This recognition underscores its leadership in the tourism industry, thanks to its focus on innovation and excellence. Rodrigo Esponda, General Director of the Los Cabos Tourism Trust (FITURCA), shared another important achievement: an agreement with Virtuoso to conduct a detailed statistical analysis of travelers visiting the destination. This study will allow Los Cabos to optimize its tourism offerings and remain competitive in the dynamic global market.
